The Beginning of Something Big

Ok I’m shooting for the moon here but building a website, starting a blog and all while trying to really “begin” the farm may end up being a little much, oh not to mention our actual day jobs. So I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, still with no promises, I’m starting a blog. I’m going to try to document this crazy little adventure we’re on and see if I can get things going. I’m sure the hubs will contribute and ideally we’ll do a little reviewing of the things we buy to make this little show a reality.

Where to start, we bought this 10 acre farm a little over a year ago and have been working non-stop since. We moved from the city (STL to be exact) to the middle of nowhere IL and started the process of cleaning up the property so it best suits our needs...and future.

The hubs has an old International Scout he will be fixing up and posting about (hopefully) in the next few months and we will continue to document our progress of all things farm.

Current critter count is 1 dog (from before, Gus), 2 donkeys, 2 barn cats, 57 (yes 57) chickens and 2 horses that aren’t ours but live here. We are getting a llama soon to add to our brood. So follow along and I’ll try to keep up!
