13/100 days of productivity
(I’m just not gonna pretend my study space is all clean and fancy, cause it’s not. My study space is pure chaos and I proudly admit it)
Anyway, back to business. It’s been almost three weeks now since my neighbor has started building his damn new house so my environment has been an orchestra of drilling, digging and hammering. SUCH FUN. So, if you’re in a DESPERATE AND HOPELESS situation like I am, here are some nice tips:
If you have no possibility of migrating to a library or even a quite coffee shop, find yourself a good WHITE SOUND PLAYLIST and love it. I’ve been using the same old one on spotify over and over and over and you can find it here: rain rain rain. I tend to prefer those one with thunderstorm or light rain.
As alternative you can find on the Apple store quite a few good apps for white noise: Noizio & Coffitivity are two of my faves. Noizio will provide you with different types of noises: rain, wind, thunderstorm, campfire, sea waves, wind chimes, train noise; Coffitivity, on the other hand, will delight you with some Coffee Shop vibes.
Another cute hacks would be the gud ol’ POMODORO. I’ve tried out millions and billions of pomodoro apps but, in the end, I always go back to: TIDE (a cute and minimal app that combines a clean pomodoro timer with ready-made white sound) & 5217 (I couldn’t find the link on the app store, but its icon a is white square with 52 on it♡)
Last, but not least, a new cute way that I recently found out to increase my productivity is the Internet Study Group, or at least that’s how I call it. You can find TONS of videos on the tube of people studying and recording themselves for 30mins+ like LilyLikeCom did in her last video “Study With Me” or the channel TheStrive Studies completely dedicated to those type of vids. I find it a really nice way of study @ home, alone, but still with someone. This way, if you ever get distracted, you’ll see someone on the screen still studying (plus, if you need to pee, you can pause the vid).
Hope this can or could help some of you,
♡May the productivity be with you all♡
