It has been a while since Alice had seen her friend in person, but seeing each other was hard once they finished school and started focusing on going for their careers. A career, which now allowed Alice to go to Spain for a month with her superior. Everyone agreed, this was an opportunity the young witch couldn’t pass on, but she promised to write everyone, especially Lily.

Oh Dearest Lily,

I’m sorry it took so long, but here it is, my first letter from Spain. I promise, I’ll be better with the next ones. So far, it is amazing here! The people areextremely friendly and helpful. I’m finally all set in this little flat, that gotrented out especially for us. Though, the guys I’m sharing it with seem tobe pigs. I’m starting to think, it’s actually a thing that men can’t fight, theyare all pigs. Thankfully, I have experience in dealing with those. On that point;say hi to your brothers. The only bad part about all of this : I still didn’t get a chance to go to the beach,and when I look at the schedules Healer Alan gave us, it looks like I won’t see itat all. Sometimes, when I walk to the Clinic I try to listen really closely, and sometimesI hear the sound of the sea — or maybe I’m pretending because I want it so much?I don’t know. The parts of the city, I got to see so far, are really pretty. The streets aredecorated with several flower pots, honestly some passages look fancier than thegardens at home. I’m sure would like it, my proposal still stands, you should comeand visit me for a few days. Maybe, I’ll be lucky and the schedules will get less crazyas time passes by. It was pathetic, to be honest, but he couldn’t stop the tears that welled inhis eyes after a tickle in the back of his throat led to great hacking coughsthat in turn led to his breaths coming heavier. He crawled over to his cousinafter a moment of deliberation, where she still sat at the end of his bed whereshe had made camp hours before, and laid his head in her lap, burying hisface in her stomach and wrapping his arms tightly around her waist. He letout a soft and sad whine.

The refusal to believe the existence of numerous newmythical beasts, even with all the new research, was ridiculous. No amount ofpudding could sweeten his bitterness towards peoples blindness.

He keeps his hand fixed in hersthough, instead of letting her go to see what she will do next, and he tugsgently on it in hopes of urging her from the shop. Honestly.. how doesanyone even take their family seriously any more?
