'As Five' is a spin-off of Malhação - viva a diferença (2017/2018) ,which broke record ratings and won the Emmy Kids International (2019) in the "series" category. As Five is an original Globoplay (TV Globo's streaming platform) series. The premiere is scheduled for 2020. The season 1 will have 12 episodes. In As Five, Lica , Tina , Keyla , Ellen and Benê are reunited after six years without seeing each other and three years since the last group chat in the messaging app. As their lives shuffle again in Greater Sao Paulo, they slowly realize that their affection, companionship, and affinity remain as intense as ever. The girls are now women and the challenges are more complicated. At the height of their 25 years, they are all grappling with personal, romantic, and professional conflicts of very different natures, though common to a generation disbelieving in economics, politics, and affective life. The transition to adulthood happens amid many uncertainties, and the reunion makes them feel stronger to face what is to come.In the series, Lica remains the same “teenage girl on the skin” as before, according to her interpreter, Manoela Aliperti. She dropped out of three colleges and several personal projects. She is also lost in her love life since she broke up with Samantha (Giovanna Grigio). ''Lica lives in a social, economic and cultural bubble, enjoying her privileges without question. Until reality knocks on the door and she begins a movement of change. The biggest challenge for me in this work is to seek new supports and breaths for the character within the acting style for the series, ”explains the actress.
