I’m sorry you are sad. I know you an’ mommy have been fightin’ ‘bout Timmy and me a lot. We found the papers from your lawyer. Mommy won’t tell us what they say. Timmy said he thinks you are askin’ her if me an’ him can come live with you in California forever.
I love you so SOOOOO much, daddy. More than all the stars in the sky an’ all the fish in the ocean, but I wanna stay in Limbo. I wanna live with mommy like we been doin’ since ya got yer new job. Me an’ Timmy will still come an’ see ya lots. Mommy said we can see ya whenever we want… but Limbo is home. I would miss it too much. Mommy needs my help. She needs someone ta take care’a all the animals with her. She needs someone ta draw pictures for her ta hang up in her cafe. She needs all my magical hugs and kisses when she’s havin’ a bad day.
Me an’ Timmy don’t want you ta fight with mommy anymore. We just want you ta be happy. We wanna be happy. No one asked us if we wanted ta go live in California. How comes you an’ mommy get’a pick where we live without askin’ us what we want?
Just ‘cause we wanna stay with mommy doesn’t mean we don’t love ya the same. We just wanna stay where our family is… Where Dottie and Ransom are… Where our friends are. Why can’t ya work at this hospital again, like ya used’ta? Don’t you like Limbo, daddy? I think it’s more funner than California.
If ya let us stay with mommy I promise ta go ta car races with you an’ Timmy… even if I don’t like cars… cause I know that’s what you like ta do. I promise I won’t keep askin’ for mommy when I visit… I won’t tell ya I wanna go home ‘cause I know yer house is my home too… It’s just not Limbo.
Please, please, pleeeeease don’t make us move. If ya do… I duno if I’ll ever be able ta forgive you. Just think’a ‘bout it, kay? We don’t need’a go ta court. You can just tell mommy you are sorry an' give her a hug... Like I do ta Timmy when I make him mad an' mommy tells me I need'a 'pologize. I think we can settle this like adults.
