I joined the snake bite club tonight. Completely my fault though... he nabbed me on my left hand. I felt stupid.

Today Limbo had is first official shed with me since having him, and it came off in one piece! However, he also peed on me and my bed when I had him out today. So I guess that’s two firsts for the book.

You should be careful about thawing prey on...
I will be sure to remember this next time feeding time comes around, thanks!
ndgo replied to your photo “Winner winner thawed rat dinner!! Limbo took it like a pro! I was...”
So you buy them dead and thaw them? Is it more humane that way?
Yep! I buy them frozen and then thaw them by putting them in a baggie and then submerging it in warm water. Then I dip the head in hot water and feed it to the snake. Some would say its more humane for the rodent because it doesn't get strangled to death, but it is also safer for the snake. Putting a live mouse/rat with a snake can be dangerous because if the snake decides it's not hungry or becomes frightened, the mouse could potentially attack the snake out of fear or boredom (which is why if you must feed live you never leave your snake unsupervised with the prey). Then what you end up with is a snake with chunks of it missing because the prey started taking bites out of it. But also its a lot easier to store frozen mice/rats than it is to maintain live prey before feeding time!

Hello! I lovvvveeeeee the set up. It’s very ball...
I plan on getting one of those, yep! They didn’t have any last I was there, but I’m going to check again next time I’m out of the house. Thanks a bunch!
I finally got the humidity in Limbo’s tank to an appropriate level, I'm so relieved.
Good morning world and all who inhabit it.
