Well glad you asked!

Lime didn't have a name yet when they were first shown to me, and she was just coloured in with a flat lime colour, so Dot and I started calling her Lime Lad, and eventually that just became his name

So ofc when I was looking for characters to be the ones literally just referred to as their colours

Our Lime lad was the obvious choice
