Curiosity gone awry, but the simplest and most accurate description would be an accidental stabbing that seems to have severed something. Pretty sure it’s a vein but it sure is bleeding like crazy.

EDIT: After checking a couple of charts, I’m pretty sure it’s the great saphenous vein, which would explain why it doesn’t look like an arterial bleed but is still going strong.
