i went to the theatre alone today, i rode my bike there, sat down, listened to other people’s conversations, watched the play (which was pretty good i think? i need to think about it more i think), stood up, listened to other people’s conversations and rode my bike home. 

i also thought a lot about when my brother was born (14 years ago tomorrow!!!) because the same flowers are blooming now. i think the morning after his birth is one of my earliest and clearest memories. and now he’s an independent person and a teenager and so tall. 

tomorrow i’m gonna be in a play, and i’m pretty nervous. we’re only playing it once so there is pressure. i play a sad clown, and i feel very sorry for him. if he was the main character there would be more information about him, now we all just know he’s sad and cynical but no one knows why.
