Here the spotters are able to roam free as nature intended; cameras-whirring from first light, corned-beef sandwich protecting cling-film flapping gaily in the breeze. Their perch of choice is Platform Four. It heaves with spotters, like Guillemots on a North Sea cliff they congregate on mass, nests of fold-out chairs and thermos flasks.
