Freightliner British Rail Class 66 (66561) and Greater Anglia Class 720 (720567) passing under a footbridge near Albany Park, just South of Enfield Lock Station.

I've been trying to get a good shot of any of the freight trains that pass by one of the parks I walk through sometimes, and yesterday just happened to be my lucky day that I was around at the right time!

Class 66 "Shed"

Designed as a powerful, reliable freight unit based on the Class 59 as part of a mass standardisation scheme shortly after privatisation.

London Underground 1972 Stock

Manufacturer: Metro-Cammell

Model: n/a

Built to replace older units on the Bakerloo line and to make up for a shortfall of stock on the Northern line. They were shuffled around the Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern lines until now only residing on the Bakerloo. They are currently the oldest passenger trains in regular use in the UK.

Class 380

Manufacturer: Siemens

Model: Desiro UK

Originally built for the never-built Glasgow Airport rail link, these trains operate electrified services around Glasgow.

Class 171

Manufacturer: Bombardier

Model: Turbostar

Identical to the Class 170s aside from their coupler. These are used on the two electrified routes Southeast of London.

Quick sketch I haven't shared before, this is Ross! He's a Class 66, and has been brought on to try and get Growler desensitised to other engines (They're going to fall in love)

Class 66 66652 on its way to Margam from Dee Marsh Sidings with Cement Containers. Taken Thursday 4th of October. Was late coming through which in turn delayed my train to uni lol. Class 66s are nicknamed Sheds as they look like sheds or Ying Yings from the sound of the EMD engines in them.
