LIFE legend Linda Christian was born 95 years ago today in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Discovered in her native Mexico by the film star Errol Flynn, he convinced her to move to Hollywood when she was barely out of high school. Christian starred as "Valerie Mathis" in a TV adaptation of Ian Fleming's first Bond novel, Casino Royale, in 1954 - making her the first onscreen "Bond Girl."
