A Models Day on a Plate…
A question often asked by many people, what do working models actually eat in order to stay so slim? And do they ever indulge? If so, what do they eat and how much do they really work out to maintain those slender toned physiques?
Well, I have asked the highly in demand Lindsay Stankovic of Chic Model Management to give me a run down of her typical daily diet and exercise regime..
Lindsay has walked for the likes of OROTON and Michael Lo Sordo, graced the pages of RUSSH magazine and has shot campaigns for the likes of ROXY, Billabong and Lee. This lanky 5’11 gazelle has a weakness for dark chocolate and French toast…
Breakfast: Rolled oats with berries, chia seeds, almonds, walnuts and pepitas, with soy milk and cinnamon OR a 2 egg omelette with avocado.
Mid-morning: Soy piccolo.
Lunch: Salad with spinach, capsicum, cucumber, red onion, pumpkin and chicken/fish cooked in coconut oil OR home-made vegetable and lentil soup.
Dinner: Stir-fry with mixed veggies and either chicken/fish/egg or nuts- depending on what protein I had for lunch OR a salad with soup.
Snacks: either a handful of raw nuts, a piece of fruit or tea!
Weaknesses: a few rows of dark chocolate after dinner and carrot cake!
Exercise Regime: Body attack or body step classes a few times a week, or else 40 minutes on the treadmill and elliptical for cardio. Body pump for toning and pilates for strength.
