This past weekend I took my girl on a weekend vacation to Woodloch Pines, and while we were enjoying a very much needed break from life, I asked her to marry me. One year ago when I met her, I had absolutely no idea this crazy year would lead to this moment. I never knew another person could make me feel so loved, needed, and content. Lindsie, I've never been happier than with you. I love you so much and I'm super excited about spending my life with you.

lemme brag on my girl real quick

i’ve never been with someone, romantically or platonically, who made me want to be a better version of my self. ever since i started dating my girl, i’ve noticed that my life has been improving. i’ve become a more out-going person, a more kind person, a more supportive person. i’m better with kids. i’m better socially. i’m improving my health; losing weight and eating better foods. i’ve become a more adventurous person; trying new foods that i’ve avoided my whole life, trying new things i never thought i could. i cook more and i work harder. every aspect of my life has changed, and it’s all because i do it for her. i want to be the best i can be for her, because she deserves that. i’ll give her everything i can, i’ll be the greatest version of myself, and with God’s help, i’ll be someone who can nourish and protect her for the rest of her life.
