Math memorization tip
If you’re studying a topic that has two cases with similar conditions, try to make a saying or mneumonic for at least one of the cases. For example,
when I perform an elementary row operation on a matrix, it gives me EA= new matrix, and for a column operation, it gives me AE= new matrix. So, for a row operation I should think Row Right. There’s no good saying for the column one, but if I make a phrase for just one of the two cases, there’s no need for a second phrase.
This can actually work in any subject, not just math, that has a topic with two cases and similar conditions.
