I’m currently experimenting with Graphics Tablets, I’m struggling to use skin tones at the moment but I have managed some linear drawings which are pretty realistic. I’ve discovered a palet which Is used for digital drawings in skin tones called the Zorn pallet, and I‘m going to have a go at using it soon, it consists of :
Titanium white
cadmium red
yellow ochre
ivory black
I have watched a few tutorials which have proven quite useful, also the colour theory lecture earlier in the year has made a lot more sense after seeing a graphic designer showing how it applies on a digital face. Greys look more blue and green when contrasted with yellow and white, it’s intriguing how much your brain warps things, how easily it can be tricked.
