This is a Sheaffer Legacy 2 Linear Matte fountain pen c1999-2002. The Linear Matte is a unique finish with a deeply linear engraved black matte barrel and a highly polished palladium plated cap and end cap. The trim is palladium electroplated. It is a Touchdown filler with a removable gold plated converter that allows the use of standard Sheaffer cartridges. It's model 866, fitted with a solid 18 karat gold palladium plated Inlaid nib that was available in fine, medium and broad nib grades. It's 5 3/8 inches long. Retail price was $275.
