Sorry to ask such a personal opinion, but I read your post about anti northern/central Asia in cmedia and wanted to be sure if it's a thing or not in one of the novels I read and like a lot, Dinghai Fusheng Records by Feitian, because the ML is a mixed Tiele-Han man and a big part of the novel do happens outside the Great Wall, and yeah, racism is a thing but I feel Feitian tried advocate against it, so idk if it's actually an okay portrait of casians

I can't personally speak for this as I haven't fully read the book, but I have read a lot of Feitian's other books, and they have generally been well-intentioned and well-executed with minority portrayals. if the ML is mixed, then racism will definitely be part of the book, but the portrayal of that racism is where it matters. just looking at the story yourself, generally asking yourself questions like "is this fetishizing a race," "is this making a race seem violent," "is this an uneducated portrayal," or "is this blatantly just a made up version of a real culture" will tell you pretty much everything you need to know! having seen Feitian's other works, really my only concern with casians in Dinghai Fusheng Records would be an exaggeration of cultural elements and general misrepresentation of Tiele/Casian culture as a whole. but! having not read the entire book, I definitely can't make that call, so this is one you will have to trust your own judgement on

Hey just want say that even with the Hardin lose, y'all from team Hardin was so so awesome, you guys showed what actual good team work can do and I'm proud of team Hardin even being in team Lyon. early on it looked like all of the villains were going to lose in the first round so i had pretty low expectations after that. thankfully it turned out to be one of the more enjoyable VGs filled with a lot of underdog victories.

It's actually my classpect result and I'm curious

I’m happy to hear you like Jake more now! He’s p much my favorite character more often than not.

Mage of Hope has been the classpect I identified with for a longass time. I might be flirting with Maid now, though.

A Mage is the active version of a Prophet. So it’d be one who Knows hope or Knows through Hope. That could mean getting future visions, or just being a knowitall expert on matters where fantasy and beliefs are concerned (that’s what I aim for). It’s basically a kind of fortuneteller or magician who can attain immense knowledge of and perform literal miracles through their Aspect.

It’d be easier to list things a Mage of Hope couldn’t do, to be honest!
