Making Hannah barbera and scooby doo style
Sketched this back in 2021 and never posted it. I couldn't figure out where to go with it, colouring wise so I kinda gave up. Maybe I'll get around to it, maybe I'll revamp- not sure 😩 but there isn't enough Mothra/Chen twins content on this forsaken website even if they're literally THE mothra twins so I might as well post it.
Ling Chen for NUME F/W 21 Campaign
An End Has a Start (Monsterverse, Godzilla: King of the Monsters)
(1) All Sparks [1/1] - PG-13 - AU. Post-KOTM. The Russell Family (doesn't) deal with the aftermath of Skull Island and the Hollow Earth. (2) Cosmos - [4/4] - G - AU. Post-KOTM. "The COSMOS is a call for aid, not control. The very idea means giving up on the world of human supremacy." (3) A Start - [1/1] - PG - Madison wants to reconnect with her father. Mark tries communicating, too. Sort've. ONE SHOT. (4) An End - [12/15] - M - A Titan trapped in the Colorado mountains threatens to take what little family Madison has left, and Godzilla's not around to help.

Just some random headcanon AU ideas based on @adm-starblitzsteel-4305's fanfic series AU, mainly Shin'ichi Kyatso and his relationship/friendship with Monarch, Madison, Jia, and Ma. Celestine
Shin'ichi Kyatso & Monarch's relationship: He doesn't have much to say about them other than mutual respect for them after they freed him and the other kaijins. He doesn't get along with everyone, such as Rick or the conspiracy theorist Bernie Hayes, because he finds them annoying. The only ones he has a form of respect for are the Chen twins, Ilene and Ling, Ilene Andrews, and Mark Russell. Though the two would butt heads whenever Madison is involved (protective father vs. protective boyfriend) and Mark doesn't fully trust Kyatso with his daughter.
Shin'ichi Kyatso & Jia Andrews' relationship: Kyatso and Jia's relationship is what one could say something similar to how Godzilla and Kong's relationship is: butting heads and arguing (due to Kyatso having Godzilla's DNA in him and Jia being Kong's adopted daughter), though not to the levels of full-on fighting like the two Titans. It's mainly the two giving each other glares or borderline calling each other names, but that's as far as they'll go. But the two were able to become friends in the end, but they have a more "sibling rivalry" dynamic when they're together.
Shin'ichi Kyatso & Ma. Celestina's relationship: Many would assume the two would get along because of how they're heavily linked to both King and Queen of the Monsters (one being a hybrid and the other a reincarnation of the two's daughter). But, in reality, their relationship is more mutual at best (think Heisei!Godzilla and Heisei!Mothra's relationship, where the two don't hate each other, but don't have any feelings for each other either) and can get along fairly well. Ma. would scold Kyatso whenever he gets aggressive or is destructive, trying her best to get him to see the positives or be less destructive towards his surroundings.
Shin'ichi Kyatso & Madison Russell's relationship: When the two first met, it wasn't love at first sight, but rather a more shocking revelation when Madison discovered Kyatso's transformation and the other kaijins. It led to her being curious about him and would ask questions whenever she had the opportunity. He didn't open up at first, not trusting anyone at first, but Madison is persistent and stubborn to know when to quit. It was that stubbornness of her's that slowly chipped away at his cynical look on life, and the two would eventually be friends and then quietly dating. It didn't take long, the moment when Madison accidentally revealed her feelings about Kyatso to her friends and dad, but it ended up well in the end, and the two have a steady and healthy relationship, even at highs and lows. Many would say they're the human version of Godzilla and Mothra in terms of how they interact with each other. Plus, Madison finds it cute that Kyatso's tail would wag whenever she's cuddling with him, despite him having his default annoyed expression and faintly blushing.
