Kaiju Baseball AU!!!

Hey, i think i do actually wanna go deeper into this potential au. It’s not anything big really. It’s just a supposed scenario of what if as an excuse to constantly see his adoptive meantime (by then) daughter in some way, he decides to still try to teach her more baseball. But then later turns into teaching her & her friends (the younger kaiju she met when returning to Kaiju Island; i tried to think of other existing kaiju she could easily be friends with) the sport leading to the idea of creating some sort of small team dedicated to just his daughter Emi & him being the coach. That & somehow convincing the more adult kaiju about it (which wasnt easy). In the end, they all have fun & become this sorta big friend group. (Mostly meant as some sorta wholesome concept & easy idea to go off of; the only challenging thing is that idk much about baseball)

Oh & i did add a lil special guest as part of the team (Rodan’s own kid inspired by @quazies own animation)

[i’ll add more to this & hopefully i can do art that somehow shows all the fun baseball stuff they do :) ]

Okay, first off: how the fuck does this happen? I have… a working idea?

So! Goji fans, you guys know the Dimension Tide? Good, because I'm abusing that name even if that's not what the damn thing actually does.

For the Resident Evil fans who are confused: Dimension Tide is a weapon introduced in Godzilla vs. Megaguirus; think of a massive sci-fi canon strapped to a satellite. Got that in your head? Good. Now imagine that shooting honest-to-god black holes at whatever it's aimed at.

…Yeah the Millennium series was a fucking trip.

Aaaaaanyway, this is an au of post-Heisei Godzilla. Dimension Tide was built to act as a defense against malevolent kaiju (or *insert evil alien race here*), while Godzilla Junior (who I'm calling Junior from here on out) keeps the peace between humanity and the… non-evil kaiju, I guess?

Shit hits the fan when the Vortaak invade, hack into Dimension Tide, and try to use it to kill Junior. Miki (I believe that's what Junior's adoptive mother's name is? Look I haven't watched Heisei Godzilla in a while, okay?) is able to warn him in time, and he barely escapes being shot with a fucking black hole. Well… most of him did, anyway.

Some of his cells (G-Cells) got sucked into the black hole, and ended up in Raccoon City on the night of September 29th, 1998.

You thought I was doing what Spaz was? Nah son I've got my own brand of unhinged to share.

The G-Cells find Leon while he's passed out after getting shot by Annette, they enter through the open wound and bond with his own DNA. It heals his injuries while mutating him into an odd half human, half Godzilla form.

Leon - obviously - freaks out when he wakes up, thinking he got infected (which… I guess he technically did? Just not by what he's thinking). Although… none of the infected he'd seen looked like… this.

Leon's mutation looks like a gestalt of various Godzilla designs (tail thagomizer from Legendary!Goji, lifting dorsal plates from Minus!Goji, dorsal plate shape from Heisei!Goji, powers from… a lot of Gojis)

Chaos and confusion ensues; Leon may or may not've blasted the fuck out of G-Birkin with an atomic breath (on accident no less, he doesn't know how he did that).

Leon's also technically immune to diseases and parasites now, as his body acts like a mini-nuclear reactor. He can also absorb radiation as an alternate source of food, although he doesn't find that out for… a while.

Does he have a full kaiju form? No, mainly because he's so strong as is that it… really isn't needed.

I like the idea of G-Force getting curious about where the Dimension Tide black holes lead, only to find body horror nightmares and one (1) mini-Godzilla doing his damnedest to stop them from happening.

…Yeah needless to say, they ally themselves with the BSAA expeditiously, and convince (demand) the DSO transfer Leon over to them.

Junior adopts Leon as his "little brother" (even though technically Leon's older than him), and adores Sherry.

The US government takes several steps back upon seeing the giant radioactive lizard that adopted Sherry and Leon as family. They're stupid but they aren't that stupid.

Claire finds the whole thing hilarious, becoming friends with Miki (they spill the tea about embarrassing things their lizard boys have done).
