tae never liked the idea that jk made up that stupid bet and essentially lied to oc. tae thought he should just be honest with her but jk clearly panicked but also thought that it might be a good way to find out if oc really genuinely likes him and not just for the money etc. which is ironic because hes paying her but jungkook was honestly scared oc would leave him otherwise, so he kept the lie in place from the beginning even tho he recognised it was dumb.

tae confronted jk once again abt it telling him to be honest, and to be fair jk has been feeling bad for lying to oc, so his guilt just kinda consumed him. especially because this entire thing got so much bigger than he expected it would. i mean oc was abt to meet his parents and he was just feeling terrible for lying to her so much x_x

I really love jungkook in this fic and he has a lot of good qualities. but you know what was the most vile thing on his part - to offer a bet. This is damn insulting. because we all in the world know how these bets end and most often the girls who agree to this suffer. I think, based on the last chapter, he loves her. but God, was it really so difficult to say about this right away or before she began to engage in self-flagellation and what a genius it took to have such a relationship to introduce her to her parents, knowing well that this was her weakest point. a blow to the ribs. Did he really not see how she suffered or is she very good at hiding what torments her?
