You’ve got to meet and hug Rhett and Link? I need the details hehe! I hope I ever get to meet them one day once all of this stuff is over. 🤗
I'm always happy to talk about meeting Rhett and Link! I met them in St. Louis last year after their live show. Link beckoned me over with a huge open-mouthed grin. He was super energetic that night. I gave them some gifts (a pin each with art I did of their dogs) and showed them my tattoo (the Rhettwoods and Linkstar) dedicated to the friendships I've made because of them. Link commented on my Mythical shoes, saying he hardly sees them anymore. Then we did a silly pose that is based on a pic of my siblings and I (Link nearly crushed me with his arms and Rhett actually had to get on his tippytoes... Link is NOT small) and I hugged them both. Rhett's hug was as light as a feather! When I turned back around to thank them after getting flustered and almost forgetting to get my phone back from the guy taking pics (who was very nice) Rhett gave me a warm crinkly-eyed smile and thanked me instead. If I could do it again I'd hug them both longer and tighter. They were so warm and welcoming and sweet and genuine and gracious (and constantly smiling at each other over fans heads, which was adorable).
