So, I'm actually gonna make a whole post with my Marthlink fic, since it's not that long. It's a one shot, and it was inspired by an ask I received from @gummiiismiles !

Summary :
It's the second time Marth is invited to the super smash bros tournament, and he hopes to see his boyfriend Link again! After all, they would NEVER replace him right?
Until he realises that this Link might not be the one he knew during melee...
It was the second time Marth came to the smash bros tournament, but this time it was different.
First of all, he was teleported into an oddly familiar castle, with a ton of monsters and weird "robots" (apparently that was what they were called).
He then met a strange ball-shaped fighter that looked a lot like Kirby, but blue and with clothes. They fought together for... Actually he had no idea what they were both fighting for, maybe just to survive he guessed.
A new smasher came to help them some minutes later, a new smasher who apparently also came from his universe, fire emblem. Although he had never met this man in his entire life, nor had he heard stories of him, so he guessed he was just simply from another time and place. The man, Ike, said it himself : he wasn't from Altea but from Tellius.
From then, the following events all got weirder and weirder. They fought a giant machine, saved random kids who fell from the sky, climbed a snowy mountain for... Whatever reason Meta Knight, the kirby-like guy, had.
And finally, they met the other smashers. And Link.
Surprisingly, the hylian hero didn't seem to recognise Marth, and didn't really talk to anyone, except for Yoshi and Pit.
Marth tried several times to approach him, but every time something happened, an enemy attack, a weird noise coming from the forest, a new smasher arriving... It was like the entire universe didn't want them to talk to each other!!
That was seriously starting to piss Marth off. For Naga's sake, when would he have a chance to speak with the pretty hylian boy, with his boyfriend!?
But when he finally had the time to, when all the fighting against Tabuu was over, he realised something.
This Link wasn't the one he knew.
This information devastated Marth. Was he never going to reunite with the man he loved ??
He spent the next week trying to cope with the fact he would probably never see Link, his Link, again.
He was kind of angry at the new Link, even thought he knew it was not his fault he had replaced the old one, but the altean king couldn't help but feel like this.
Despite that, days after days, the new hero came to speak with him more often, probably feeling guilty for replacing Marth's boyfriend.
Little by little, Marth started to like him more. They spent the last days of the tournament together, talking, joking, laughing with each other.
But the day of their separation came.
Marth truly was afraid of losing the hylian knight, again.
But the next tournament, he was there, standing, with his master sword and green tunic.
He greeted Marth with a big smile! This year's tournament was really going to be great... And the following one too!
Finally, when the time came for the super smash bros ultimate tournament, Marth was super excited to meet with Link once again.
But when he arrived at the smash house, the hero was nowhere to be seen.
But his name was on the smash bros list! Where was he? Was he late? No, it was marked he was present. So what happened?
Then he saw him. An elf, wearing a blue tunic, holding the master sword, not seeming to know him.
