my friends have the best view from their suite up on mission hill near okanagan lake. you’ll see the same lake from a previous post i made. in love with this small view of part of the valley we live in!

the st. james catholic church is one of my favorites around town. we quite a few old buildings around vernon but i think this is one is near the top of my list. along side the court house. i feel like most of our old buildings don’t ‘look too old’ anymore as they have been so nicely up kept or additions/reno’s have been done to them. this one thought i don’t think has, and it might be why its one of my favorites.

i cannot remember when these were taken exactly but i know it was of course spring last year. this tree blooms the prettiest flowers on it every spring and its near this old church and it looks very very pretty. i used to park over here for work and it’s be a while but i might just start again in the spring. the blooms with the blue sky behind them make such a beautiful sight (and photo). they remind me of the plumeria flower a bit, no?

i love this hill in my home town. it kind of reminds me of that photo of the little boy with the skateboard in san francisco, but sans san francisco. if you know what i mean. hard not too. anyways, it goes up to an area called ‘black rock’ on the very top of this street and has such a gorgeous view of the town and the road looks really cool going straight down through it. gorgeous.

going through some old photo’s again and forgot where i left off posting some small snippets. here was a day in april in coldstream park. i miss green grass! it was a chilly but nice day; i can still remember.
