marchie talked about relating ego to a certain song which i also apparently did? the only song that i talked about recently is "ego renegade boy," which i only implied for jokes because his name is in the title. but this did get me thinking about how it could relate.
he killed his past self...
oohh distinction between the original jp and the split ego? jp. was tied down by doubts (critic?) so when he broke critic off things. more confidence
^ mourning's in the song :)
himmmm. bigs his him in self defense (what?). okayyy
nnnn the ego (who thinks he's the true self (already saw critic as a separate part from himself, not the same)) vs the whole, made up of all the inners' contradictions.
hm ive also been thinking about how the phrase "broke himself into smaller shards," has pretty violent connotations. something wrong happened to break him, accidentally?, and sharpness of shards, similar to the murder metaphor its not a neutral word like split or divide. and the into smaller shards means the original is gone
wait that line from deconstruction: "i broke it trying to take it apart" huhhhhh what if he was just trying to kill critic or something
thoughts?
