Linux fans really are in their own little world, that I've just decided I should not interact with them anymore 💀 they're super convinced about tons of things regarding windows, one being the infamous ads thing, which quite literally don't happen, and that Linux is the most used OS, when charts show Windows has a 70% market share (or usage share) while Linux is under 5%
Then there are all these little things that happen because of their rose tinted glasses. Don't get me wrong, there are things wrong with Windows or MacOS, but lots of those problems are either one setting to fix it, or are fixed in the next update anyway. For Linux, the community motto has literally become "Too bad babyboo" you either deal with it or fix the thing yourself, which is honestly such a toxic mindset thinking everyone should spend 90% of their time fixing an OS rather than just, oh I dunno... using their OS like the tool it is?
The linux fans who actually care about fixing the problems Linux in general has, or don't care about people who use Windows/MacOS have it really bad, and there is the fact they're grouped with the people who make Linux their whole personality, those same people who always comment "Switch to linux" under any MacOS or Windows post about a problem, among other things they've done. I feel bad for those people who have to deal with what their community is like :/
Sorry for the mini rant, but lots of this had to be said. Keep strong Good linux users, someday the community will be less toxic and honestly... less cultish
