Random fannish observations

- I only just spotted that Cavennaugh from the shortlived show I liked, Threshold, is also Bobby on Cougar Town. His characters couldn't be more dissimilar but dang that is good acting. Sean Cavennaugh I just never liked or cared much for on Threshold from what I remember, which is why Molly/Sean fic is wholely unappealing to me but Bobby I find kind of hot and sweet (though intelligent he ain't). I am a little boggled to figure out they're the same guy, but it shouldn't be a surprise looks alone don't do it for making a character attractive.

- one of the few our!Lincoln/Olivia fanvids for Fringe is deleted on YT. It was called "Timeless" and I intended to rec it on crack_van but now it is gone and I don't know who made it so I can't locate it elsewhere if it exists elsewhere at all. :(

- started watching S7 of The Big Bang Theory, which has been annoying me less so far, but I keep wanting it to be like the fic universe the world is gonna bend and I know that isn't gonna happen. I think it's saying something when the fic for a show far surpasses the show, though admittedly that fic is mostly not comedy and the show is meant to be comedy, but you know, I want more character development and less misogynistic/gender stereotyped jokes. Can't we have comedy innovation? :/

Heartbeats by the Knife (Peter/Lincoln/Olivia) by ponderosa121 - Not necessarily as well constructed a vid as I like to rec but OT3 vids don't seem common and this isn't bad. If there's a narrative here, it seems best I can tell to be Lincoln considering if he wants to be the middle of a Peter/Olivia sandwich, so plenty of Lincoln here is good. The additional footage used, I think to give it an edge of the sensual (and blood play to go on the title's theme?) at times is a bit bizarre (man dipping fingers into milk?!) but it has an interesting song choice that gives this an unusual feel to match the off-beat nature.

something more (Lincoln/Olivia) by gigglesleep - a short n' sweet vid for the amberverse pairing, that somehow leaves it hopeful IMO.
