1.   Which Hogwarts House would you like to be put in as opposed to which House you would most likely be put in?

      Honestly, I don't know. I suppose I would like to be put in Hufflepuff, namely because I feel I would fit right in there and blend quite well with furniture in the common room. Compared to the other three houses, I feel like this one is the least competitive. Plus, I really like badgers, especially honey badgers. Smaller than a lion but so much more hardcore (imo, but if you can change my mind that's cool.) Hufflepuff, team work and fairness, but you mess up we eat you alive and then sleep it off. Hufflepuff don't care, Hufflepuff don't give a shit!

  2.  Which Harry Potter character do you identify with the most, and why?

     Would have to say Neville Longbottom. I just really identify with his character and feel a sense of camaraderie with him. When I was younger I never really liked Neville, I didn't hate him, he just never really stood out to me and I sort of passed over his appearances in the books without much of a second glance. As I started watching the movies I really started to notice him more and notice parts of me I felt were also parts of Neville. He's kind of quiet, didn't really want to stick out. I guess when I was younger I saw that, but didn't like it, but now I see it better. I (along with everyone else) have seen what he's become, and it's kind of lifting to know he's come out of himself and has done some really wonderful things.

    I would most likely be a cat. A majestic Maine Coon preferably.

    I love writing R's, especially in cursive.

    Memento mori, vanitas (Hi, art history!), and doppelganger.

  7. What are three words you would use to describe yourself?

     Nice (?), talented (?), and shy.

  8. What is your definition of True Love?

    Uh, True Love isn't defined by the passion in someone's relationship, or the fact that you're so compatible or incompatible but it doesn't matter. I think it's defined by the fact that you and that other person have willingly opened yourself up to each other and though you may not mesh exactly like you or others think you should the fact that you've chosen (yay italicized words) to be like this is something really important and telling. Barriers come down and, as you progress, more are soon to follow. I think True Love, is about those barriers and how they come down as well as remain down throughout the whole of your relationship to this one person whom you've found a friend and or lover in.

  9. Describe your significant other/dream significant other/crush?

    Whelp. I'm single, so the significant other within reality is kind of out the door, I don't really have a dream significant other if you mean a husband/boyfriend I've dreamed of, and I don't really have a crush on anyone really. Not anyone real, anyways.

   We'll put down N/A for this then. :D

  10. Favourite instrument to listen to?

      Piano, cello, and the violin. I also really, really love listening to fast-paced songs done on the koto. Or covers of songs done on the koto. I just really love the koto.

  11. Tell me what your favourite colour is without using its name.

       Misty why so much challenge.

       I imagine it were like a cloth draped about me on a cold night, heavy and thick. Upon touch I would discover it to be rich and luxuriant, like the feel of a rose petal rubbed between thumb and finger. Were it something I could hear, I would think it something akin to a baritone-

Probs gon' have to go with Connie Willis on this one with about 0 hesitation or regret.

What’s better: hot or cold weather?

You can always put more clothes on, but there is a limit to how much you can take off. Eventually you reach your skin and even though people who have awful burns are rly cold bc your skin regulates heat (true story. Also dehydrated) i kind of like my skin and I'm sure a lot of you know about my skin thing anyways. I am really more of a moderate person, but I like the coziness of colder weather.

What’s your favourite genre of music?

Layers and harmonies and counterpoints and just a lot of pretty sounds and and and..... I grew up listening to a capella, the beatles, and boroque choral music. It's taken its toll.

if you chew loudly there is a 100% chance that I have planned out exactly what I am going to say to you in a way that will dissuade you from making noises with your mouth that sound like you're schlepping through a swamp but am remaining quiet and exercising patience.

Probably Supernatural? Just cuz I've been watching a lot of it.

I could definitely see you teaching any of those! Temporal Mechanics and the Study of Alternative Worlds? - Sounds perfect! :D If I could teach anything it'd probably be History of Magic or Ancient Studies. Or maybe I'd like one of the newer subjects. XD

PROFESSOR MACDONALD. Perhaps you could manage to stay longer than a year as the DADA teacher? XD That or maybe you'd teach Transfiguration...or possibly Ancient Runes/Runology.

Well, it has been sixteen years since the curse on the DADA post ended... So perhaps. :D Ancient Runes would be good - probably. Especially if it involved some actual linguistics.

Maybe they've opened up some new posts for new subjects with the increased intake of magical pupils? The Professor of Studies in Natural Philosophies? Theoretical Thaumaturgy? Temporal Mechanics and the Study of Alternative Worlds?
