An utterly unique version of Lie in Our Graves from Live Trax 17 featuring David Hidalgo on guitar. Skip to ~2:50 (~1/4th through) if you want one of the smoothest guitar solos you'll ever hear right away.

Lie In Our Graves with Bela Fleck...an amazing version, you do NOT want to miss this one.
This is an epic Lie in Our Graves from 5/26 at Hartford, featuring guest electric guitarist Stanley Jordan. The song starts at 1:22.
Would you not like to be okay, okay, okay?
Lie In Our Graves
The Song of the Day is...Lie In Our Graves! Nicknamed "Peanuts", this song appeared early in 1992, but was first released on Crash. In the early to mid 90's, the song was around 7 or so minutes, but since then it has featured a long, drawn-out jam usually highlighting Boyd's violin or a guest. It's a classic Carpe Diem message from Dave, and a beautiful one. Most LIOG's are too long for Tumblr's upload limit, but I still had to decide between Live Trax 17 and 7 - Hidalgo's guitar solo or Fleck's banjo solo. I chose Hidalgo's.
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well.
