Face to Face || Kurt & Blaine, “Love is Old, Love is New”
October 3rd, evening
“I didn’t get the chance to finish watching The Big Lebowski while it was on Netflix,” Kurt sighed as he thumbed easily through the iPad open on his lap. His finger kept snagging on the protective covering during his classes, and he had discarded it out of frustration just the day before. “They didn’t take away Clueless, did they?” he asked a little louder as Blaine put an undershirt over his sopping wet curls.
Kurt’s smile turned into a smirk and he knelt on his bed. “You should let me dry you off.”
Toooooo good to pass up. <3 Lio kissing Tsaij (hope I got that right)
(Yes you did. Aside from the apostrophe. <3)
It was a strange sight, seeing such a well dressed blood elf in the tavern by the docks. He stuck out like a sore thumb. Well. A rather drunken sore thumb. As did the few other blood elves he had with him. But, the pirate had no doubt seen stranger things in his time. Besides, what did he care? A certain druid was supposed to make an appearance soon and that was far, far more interesting.
Fah’kiri slipped her way through the doorway, avoiding the shoving, cajoling mass around the front of the bar. Ears standing straight up, she turned, looking and listening for any sign of T’saij. It was usually easy to find him, all she had to do was look over the heads of everyone else. And this time was no different. With a grin, she waved and gave a shout, hoping to catch his attention over the din of the barflies. The reward? A smile that made her feel like melting into the floor in the most agreeable way possible.
So, she began to make her way to the pirate’s table, recognizing Bear among T’saij’s drinking partners when suddenly a strange blood elf appeared, lolling this way and that in his drunken haze. To Fah’kiri, blood elves were still somewhat of a mystery to her. They were all rather… pretty from what she’d heard round the fires growing up. There were plenty of jokes about how to tell a blood elf male from a blood elf female, and while this one definitely did look male, he was also very pretty.
The druid watched in confusion as the elf leaned very hard against T’saij’s chest and said something to him, a blush hot on the elf’s cheeks. It must’ve been the alcohol because he seemed rather at ease. Though perhaps that was the work of the drink as well. T’saij seemed rather bemused as well, brows furrowed as he looked down at the much smaller male. Then, the elf grabbed onto the pirate’s remaining tusk, an act that nearly had Fah’kiri tripping. Was he mad?! Most male trolls would come to blows over such an overstep, but the elf just continued on and… Oh loa above was the elf kissing T’saij? It seemed so, much to T’saij’s shock and perhaps dismay.
Fah’kiri could only stare, mouth hanging open at the sheer absurdity of the situation. Was this really happening? As her mind collected itself, the drunken elf drew back and grinned before leaning forward to say something into the pirate’s ear. As soon as Fah’kiri was within distance to the table, the strange man had wobbled away.
Words seemed to escape the entire table as the trio stared after the strange elf. For a long few moments there was just stunned silence before a giggle bubbled up in Kiri’s chest. First one, then another, then dozens. She bent double as she laughed, the sound infectious as the two men began to laugh as well.
"D-does dat ‘appen ofen?" Fah’kiri wheezed, tears streaming down her cheeks as she moved to sit in T’saij’s lap.
"Eh heh. Ev’ry once in awhile, Cat." Was his reply before he pulled her into a tight hug. One she returned with vigor.
"What did ‘e say den?" She asked, a small purr starting up in her chest.
Another chuckle rumbled out, making Fah’kiri smile all the more as she heard it. “Somethin’ about his name bein’ ‘Liolin’ and that he’s stayin’ in a room here.”
The words brought a smirk to her lips and she nuzzled against his neck. “Mm. Temptin’ offa. Bu’ ah t’ink dere be odda plans in da wuhks tanigh’.”
The grin T’saij gave her was wicked as he looked down at her before returning the affection. “Yes there are, little Cat. Yes there are.”
