Does anyone else have a new macbook pro that keeps dropping wifi despite full signal?
Okay so holy shit I caved and bought the Lion OS and oamsdklfasdf; it's so fucking good
Yes.
Finally upgraded my Macbook Late 2008 Aluminum to 4gb of RAM and it's so much faster. Lion does indeed work better with 4gb vs 2gb. Alex was slow as fuck before my upgrade. A well spent $30 if you ask me, and Apple installed the memory for free. It's a wonderful day.
Call me a simple chick...
But the Lion OS is amazing! Definitely a good purchase! The additional operations to the touchpad makes everything so convenient! For example if I'm scrolling on the interwebz and want to go back then I just have to swipe to the right with two fingers to go back to the webpage. Lauch pad is pretty legit too. It's nice that with just a swipe of my fingers I have easy access to all my apps! I know that to some it doesn't really matter but it's all about efficiency and flawless execution for me. So awesome. And this is why I'm an Apple product fan girl. Sigh...
OS Launchpad limitations
Discovered today the limitations of the not so new Launchpad in Mac OS. There's no removing apps from the launch pad. You can only organize them the way they are unless you want to uninstall one of the apps. In that case you need to drop the app into the trash from the Applications folder, empty your trash, and viola! it's gone from the Launchpad. All that other crap you do not want to uninstall but want it out of your way in Launchpad -- throw all that into it's own app group. Here's a video that demonstrates the run around:

If I download lion OSX does it wipe all my files?
No computer until further notice.
After prolonging this check up for a long time, I had my good friend, Chris, come over today. Started a format of my drive and then went on to a clean install of Lion OS. Right when it was done and was suppose to boot up after a restart, it freezes after the apple logo on grey screen and it goes into a apple logo on yellow/white screen. Chris ran a couple of tests and we went into a deep format and shit. Nothing works and now it's stuck on the apple booting up screen. Sigh. I'm so fucked -.- My computer is in Chris' hand and hopefully, he can fix it.
