This is another movie from 1942 that I found through Letterboxd. It is a bit different take on the mad scientist film. Lionel Atwill takes on the role, has to flee San Francisco via a cruise ship and ends up on an island. There is an interesting story there due to the natives following him, for good reason, despite how evil he is. Has anyone else heard of this one? Another movie that I found from Letterboxd from 1942 in the horror genre. This is combining a murder mystery, the old dark house setting and maybe even a monster. We have cameos for star power of Bela Lugosi and Lionel Atwill. This isn't a great one, but it definitely explores some interesting ideas in an entertaining movie. Have you heard of this one? This is a movie that I first heard about thanks to the opening song of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It went on a list of movies to check out and I am now for my Trek Through the Twos. This wasn't necessarily what I was expecting. Learning that it was based off a play, it makes sense when we settle into the murder mystery aspect.
