The tiny dwarfling's arms looped around her neck, his face nuzzling against her. "I have the best mama!" He declared.
She held him close, a smirk on her face. "And I have the best little son a mother could wish for!" With a grin, she lifted him up in the air for a moment, then let him rest in her arms again.
"Up! Up!" He clapped his hands gleefully, more childish laughter bubbling in his chest. "I love you mama!" Fili beamed, pressing a sloppy kiss to her cheek.
She giggled, bouncing him up and down a little. "Oh, I know. And Mama loves you!" With that, she quickly pressed a few kisses to his cheek as well, smirking all the while.
"Grey things!" He laughed happily, tugging on her skirts. "Grey things go' me an' went poof!"
"Easy, lovely!" She shook her head a little, giggling at the younger. "...well.. then we should make the best out of the situation, hm?" Dís reached down to pick him up from the ground, then let him shift in her arms a little.
"MAMA!" Little Fili screeched, hurtling into the house to all but throw himself at his mother's legs, giggling all the while.
“What-“, she began, blinking a few times as she gazed down at her son. “….Fíli? Why are you.. well, so small?”
