--that’s because he is a fool. he’s a fool. he’s not easily deceived, as he’s seen his fair share of lies and bargaining, and lived long enough to witness many mortals trying to deceive him for a multitude of reasons. that said, he isn’t impervious to deception, just a little more learned in spotting it. he will also lie and steal if it takes his fancy/he doesn’t have the money to purchase what he desires.

poorly. betrayal implies trust to exist in the first place, and amdusias is not the sort of person to put that into others lightly. not only do mortals die so easily, they also seem impulsive, reckless and narrow-minded to someone who has had millenia to form his opinions and pick his principles. he doesn’t easily feel betrayed, but when he does, mercy slips through his fingers like fine sand.
