Due to 22nd March World Water Day, we were organized a seminar event in Canakkale Secondary School on 22nd March 2018. Assist. Prof. Dr. Burak Ali Cicek, academic member of Water and Marine Sciences Research Center in Eastern Mediterranean University. Sight For Kids is a project of @lionsclubs that provides children hard of seeing the prescription eyeglasses they need and the surgical care worse cases require. This year, we are rolling out the project in Laguna to benefit over 230,000 children in public elementary schools across 6 cities and 24 municipalities, in addition to those already served by counterpart clubs in the province. Yesterday, we signed agreements with the Provincial Government and DepEd to launch the activity. Institutional partnerships at this level of government allow service activities such as SFK to scale at a healthy pace and saturate larger segments of underserved communities. With the private sector and local government joining hands, serving our underprivileged and less-fortunate is now more efficient and coordinated. Our club's monthly meeting held on 13th February. We were discussed the February and March activities that going to happen. Membership awards given to Ln. Çağın Zort and Ln. Tozan Sarı. 2014-2015 semester 118 Y General Manager Ln. Neşe Güner's patch attached to our clubs flag and also we made a open vote to choose whether support or not support our founding president Ln. Inanc Genc's candidateship for Assistant Vice President in North Cyprus Lions Clubs Federation and the result was positive. Our 2018-2019 semester President Ln. As we Magusa Mesarya Lions Club visited Sht. Osman Ahmet Primary School. We gave story books to the first-year students who learned to read and write, with the reason that the first semester starts the semester break.
