Teen Pregnancy
Hey guys, I’ve decided I want to get real with you on a very controversial subject or maybe it’s just a touchy subject, Teen Pregnancy. First, I want to connect with all the mothers who were told they couldn’t do it. Who were told they were to young, not mature enough to handle it, not financially ready. A lot of teen girls who get pregnant hear this as soon as it happens, I know I did. My father took me to breakfast and wanted me to give my daughter up for adoption. I understand where my dad was coming from, he wanted to give me my best chance but let me just say that having my daughter has been the most fulfilling experience I’ve ever had. Now I’m not saying that it’s easy god knows it hasn’t been for me, the whole experience, the pregnancy, the taking care of her, the growing up. There’s a reason we aren’t suppose to start so young, but if by chance it does happen know you aren’t alone. They’re are millions just like you, I was raised in a Christian home, abortion was out of the question for me I never believed in it, some do, for me it was either to keep her or give her up. And I thought really hard about it of course thinking of my other half but what really kept going through my head was at the very end having to give up this beautiful girl who I made, I nourished, I unconditionally loved, I knew very quickly I couldn’t do it, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Now if you like what you are reading even if you aren’t going through it but you think it’s important like and reblogg or if you’ve been exactly through this reblogg to show others that some will take comfort in this, not everyone has a family but us teen moms have to stick together, sometimes it’s all we have. Minimum Wage Jobs for us Maximum Losers
I just need to get a few things off my chest here, I don’t know how many of you work in customer service but it is one of the hardest jobs in the world, especially in the present time. Our current generation of adults are very selfish and in my opinion uncaring. Which makes the jobs of people in customer service twice as hard. I am a barista at a coffee shop, and before that a waitress. Few tips for when you go out and get food or something quick like a coffee pick me up. 1) Be courteous: Evenwhen you've been waiting 10 minutes for one coffee, why because there were probably ten people before you that ordered 5 drinks each and us behind the counter are doing our best. 2) If there is a problem with your item, definitely let them know but don't be an ass about: they already feel terrible and we want to fix it but not if you're a huge butthole about things. 3) If at all possible tip: I know as a server tips were the only thing that made that job bareable if you think your server deserves a tip, try going at least 20%, I know anytime I got that type of tip it made my whole night and most of the time it's for something I needed such as gas, diapers, food. So let me be the first to tell you things would be 500% better if people followed these steps out in public. Next time you go out keep in mind we all are working to survive, give a little back, if you can tip, if you can't be courteous it's giving a little back. It's the little things that matter.
