right, i'm a girl btw. xD and i think you need a special person, an inspiration... if it means a lot to you, you have to fight for this. it's your future, your life... everything will be okay!

And ugh, I'm not uninspired with my art, my imagination does all the work for me. It's a lack of motivation for other reasons.

And sure, I would fight for it, if there was anything to fight. Instead, there's no obstacle but also no direction to go. I'm just sat there.

I'm on a real downer right now man.

I just don't feel like I'm achieving anything. I draw and draw and the only appreciation I get for it is my mum saying "That's good", after I actively seek her out to show her it. At college I just get told my drawings are "weird" and if I try to show more than one they just say I'm "showing off" and exit the conversation. I know it sounds pathetic because it's just art, but art is pretty much my life right now and it's what I want to do with my future, and right now I have no support and a rapid decline in motivation because I'm just getting nothing out of it. Sure I'm expressing myself and my emotions but at the same time, no one sees or appreciates it because my art isn't this perfect top-of-the-range style art that you see circulating this site, for example.

Sorry for rambling but right now it's dragging me down.
