Gangs of Ul’dah: Folks that work the markets in Ul’dah may have seen her looming around the stalls of various vendors acting as both protection and motivation. Petty criminals may have either run up against her protection or benefitted from her assistance depending on the circumstance. Rumor has it she works for a cartel known as the Citrine Seal as a junior level enforcer, and she certainly has the street swagger to go along with that kind of reputation.
Arena Flunky: Lir was an up-and-coming Arena fighter that fell to a pretty shitty match-up a few months before the Calamity. She never made it back to fighting on the sands, but folks involved in the training of Gladiators or involved in the betting scene may have heard she recently won big betting on an underdog, though some say the fight seemed thrown. Either way, her reputation among her former gladiator buddies is pretty shot and anyone that ran in that crowd may have heard shitty rumors about her that don’t match up to any in-person knowledge of the woman.
Upper Decks Upstart: Following her win off the arena, and a rather sudden marriage to a student of Mhaelvan’s Gate, Lir has turned up among the well-to-do of Limsa Lominsa. She seems mainly to run with the saltier side of the merchant elite, or their kids that want a taste of slumming it with the nouveau riche, though she’s making inroads with the adventurer crowd as well. She doesn’t always seem to know what she’s doing, but that’s sorta to be expected. Folks in the upper crust of Limsa may have run across her as a curiosity at a party or dinner.
Freewheeling Foodie: Whether it’s Limsa or Ul’dah or anywhere else she travels, Lir loves food and seems to always find out where the best grub can be had. Some say she moonlights down at a little restaurant around the corner from the Bismark, but that seems highly unlikely given her recently acquired wealth. Folks that own or frequent restaurants, pubs, food stalls, or cafes may run across her, and her own cooking escapades often lead her to handing out treats and other food to the down and out of Limsa’s Lower Decks.
