i have been thinking lately about going back to writing my original novel.
which is insane.
it's been months since i last wrote anything. i don't have inspiration anymore, not even for my traditional birthday extravaganza, which is in a little over a month. i haven't developed a good idea in weeks.
and yet here i am, fantasizing about characters that i am not talented enough to create.

you know when you do something you shouldn't have done and karma gets back at you?
that's me and a bottle of coke that i didn't seal properly, thus flooding my whole backpack, my coat and my floor.
now i have to clean the mess up without anyone noticing because guess what? i shouldn't have had that coke
i love online/distance learning because it helps me balance my job and my studies.
i hate it because of how isolated i feel. i don't have uni friends anymore. i don't even know anyone since i don't go to classes. i couldn't even know if the person next to me waiting up to take the exam has even been to the same classes i have.
i think that's sad.
Can literally ANYONE tell the man right beside me on an effing subway train TO KEEP HIA PHONE CONVERSATION PRIVATE?
I don't really need to hear every single detail of whatever he's talking with his friend. But I am hearing it over my headphones that are set to the highest level.

i have just gotten a comment on a fic i posted back in 2013.
2013.
that was the sign i was looking for to go back to writing.
everyone's (me included) freaking out about carlos' secret being something from his past or something bad he did, when in reality it could perfectly be him having to go undercover or him finally being a detective and having to whatever detectives need to do.
the best decision i've ever made has been the one to not take part in big writing events, save from some exceptions (911ls big bang, i'm eyeing you).
i'm less stressed about fandom these days, and i have less pressure on me about writing every single day. i'm going to try my hand at nano this year but i'm still not sure if i'll be able to pull it.
so, if you were wondering why i wasn't publishing anything (in case anyone's been thinking about this, which i doubt, but still), that's the reason why.
i've been taking some time for myself, to make sure that writing is still something i enjoy instead of something i've imposed myself.
