Hi, I am wondering if you draw from live models, photos or from your mind. Your artwork is so romantic and transportive and it is so detailed while also removed from daily life. I love it.
Are you asking where I get my inspiration, or a more technical question about what resources I use? Technically, a do a bit of everything. Some time a photo or a pose will inspire me, sometimes I copy the masters for fun and practice, sometimes something will just pop into my head. For portraits, especially in commissions, I often use photo references. But inspiration comes from all over - my favorite artists, eras in history, films, books, music... This is a hard question to answer. But thank you!
