2016 was a bit nuts for everyone, wasn't it? Like everyone, I've been though my fair share of struggles eg. having a hard time finding a job and when I did, it didn't work out, my dad had a heart attack (he's okay now but it was all a bit scary), I moved out of home in October and discovered just how *cough cough* fun it is to rely on Centrelink while looking for more work. But many good things have happened too! I've seen four professional stage shows, "Les Misérables" for a second time (@lorimar5 and I had a blast in Brisbane) and we met @patricetipokiarkins, @simongleeson, and @euandoidge (second time for me) and I also met #rowanwitt and @haydentee stumbled past me on a sprained ankle so I couldn't pass up the chance to say 'hi' to him as well. I also saw #Matilda in Melbourne, #machupicchu here in Adelaide, with #lisamccune and @lukejoslin and #SoundOfMusic also in Adelaide. I was lucky enough to do THREE @rawadelaide showcases, being booked for the first, then being brought in as an emergency for 2 and 3. I took my first overseas holiday. Now, Bali doesn't sound like much to the experienced traveller, but for me, it was a start. I enjoyed (most of) it, except for the humidity and constantly being approched by locals in the markets. It was fun, but I'm not in a hurry to go back. I hope 2017 is truly the year of job opportunity, more stage shows and FUN!
