“I got one less problem without you. I got one less problem without you. I got one less problem without you. I got one less, one less problem.” She sang while she was wiping up the tables. “I love this song.”

Lexie & Steph || First Meeting
The curse was finally broken a few days earlier, with the memory of every resident in the small town called Storybrooke returning after 28 years, minus the town’s mayor. However, despite everyone’s memories returning, life still remained normal.
Lexie, the daughter of the mayor, was putting her hours in at work. The young Latina worked at the local diner as a waitress alongside Ruby, who was the owner’s granddaughter. Despite the two being ages apart, both women got along so well and often helped each other with their shifts. The day was very busy, as usual. Serving a few customers, including her sister, brother-in-law, niece and her younger brother, it kept the young girl busy. She would do anything to make money, no matter if it was working or volunteering. Lexie loved helping people.
As a hour passed, she kept herself occupied by cleaning tables as customers left the diner while talking to her family. At that moment, the door swung opened and in came a unfamiliar face to everyone, but a familiar face to her. With a gasp, she squealed and approached the girl. “Stephanie!” She screamed loudly, not caring who was watching as she hugged her best friend whom she met online through online classes. Pulling away, she smiled excitedly. “Oh my god, what are you doing here?”
“After passing, of what seemed like the billionth ‘Dead End’ road sign and 3 large cups of coffee later, I’m finally greeted by the ‘Welcome To Storybrooke’ sign. I was almost beginning to think this place didn’t even exist since my GPS kept trying to redirect me back to the city.”
“I’m super excited about my best friend Steph coming into town. I mean, we are finally meeting after two years of getting to know each other from online classes we both took.”
