Five Things

Tagged by @academicgangster​. I’d tag other people, but you know, it took me long enough to do this and you all have busy lives, so have fun doing likewise only if you feel like it. :)

Five things you’ll find in my bag: - Hand sanitizer. - CK One lotion. - Cat's claw knife. - Socks. - Coloring book and markers.

Five things in my bedroom: - Blackout blinds, without which my sleep would be much more disordered than occasional insomnia. - A large framed print of poppies in a vase (by Beverly Jean). - A box full of crafting supplies. - Clothes hanging off shelves and littering the floor (a cleaning job always in progress). - A bobblehead of Spock.

Five things I’ve always wanted to do in my life: - Publish a book of poetry. - Visit London. - Go parachuting, or barring that, go up in a helicopter. - Go to a vidding con. I would have specified VividCon, but it's ending next year. - Watch a play on Broadway.

Five things that make me happy: - Gifts from friends, whether it be time spent with them or actual ones that I can hold.  They both mean so much. - Hugs and kisses from my youngest. (Eldest is too old for that now.) - Making good food and being complimented for it. - People who follow through on their responsibilities. - I've said it before and I'll say it again, but fake dating in media makes me squeal. (A recently watched episode of My Queen was full of this.)

Five things on my to-do list: - Make Strawberry Shortcake Tiramisu, like I usually do at this time of year, from my harvest of strawberries. - Finish two pieces of traditionally drawn fanart. - Finish transcribing all the episodes of Probe.  (Yeah, that’s been there on the list for years.) - Organize my pantry. - Continue to work slowly but steadily on writing fills for my 30Kisses prompt table.

Five things people may not know about me: - I am a naturalized citizen of the United States. - I've written fanfic for Buffy the Vampire Slayer under a different pseudonym. - I caught chicken pox twice because the first time didn't build a lot of immunity.  I have so many scars from the second time, even one on my eyebrow, pfft. - I don't really like sex all that much.  It's a messy thing, both mentally and physically. - I live where I can see mountains and they are forever a source of joy.
