hey, if you ever wonder if your kindness makes a difference

My 3 year old daughter went ice skating for the first time today. She was scared and was holding onto the wall. Then a couple people skated by and let her know what a good job she was doing.

It inspired her to step out onto the ice and let go of my hand. As we scooted along, even more people stopped to tell her what a good job she was doing. My daughter slipped and fell once, and when she got back up, she said, "I can do it! Everyone knows I can do it!"

A few strangers took 10 seconds out of their day to encourage a 3 year old for trying something hard, and she believed in herself whole heartedly because the world showed her that it believed in her.

Your kindness matters.
