So I finished the book sumphee sent me. It was Perdido Street Station by China Mieville. It's not really my type of book and I wouldn't have found it without this challenge. I'm happy that I read it but as I said, not really my type. If you like steampunk, the victorian era, magic and a nice dash of fantasy this is a book for you. I got the "1984"-wibe sometimes while reading and I did like that book.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Wow. That's all I can really say about this book. I suck at book reviews but let me tell you I give it 12/10 would definitely recommend! I loved it! It is one of those books that pulls you into its world and you never want to leave. I want to go to that circus and be a part of it. This book will forever be one of my favorite books and I now realize why it was submitted. I just want to go back and read it again and I don't usually reread books. It has a beautiful story and is beautifully written. Thank you so much for submitting this book!

'So You Want to Be a Wizard' by Diane Duane

Well I finally finished my book and I have to say NOT EXPECTING THE SADNESS AND THE FATES FOR CERTAIN CHARACTERS.

Holy jeez.

Okay, so I found out my school's library had the book I was suggested to read from thevoxbox but it had been out at the time and I didn't want to put it on hold since I was supposed to be working on an assignment thingy and wanted to get it done. So, I ended up forgetting about it every time I passed the library and would only remember once I got on Tumblr and saw the 'lit blind date' tag -.-

BUT my English Honours class is starting a novel study so we all went to the library to sign out our books and since I'd already been in regular English last semester (Weird, I know), my teacher said I could just do an independent novel study and could use a book I'd been wanting to read.

Perfect timing, eh?

Long story short: I'll be trying to finish 'So You Want to Be a Wizard' by Diane Duane over Spring Break and then using it for a novel study in school.

I’m a bit late in starting since I haven’t really had access to tumblr… I’ll be reading The picture of Dorian Grey, which will be interesting because I didn't like the movie. But it will have to wait until next week since I have to finish Les Mis first.
