I am happy your heart still beats,

But I hate that it no longer beats faster for me.

No Head Start

I was late to the race,

And then I kept stumbling as I ran,

And getting lost without any signs,

And forgetting where I was running to.

It feels like I’ll die before I catch up.

What am I even catching up to?

It feels like I won’t even be a memory by the time I find myself,

If I ever find my way again.
