Is it normal to have your dog follow you to the bathroom and just lay on the floor waiting for you. Like or is just my boy?

One full day off my anti anxiety meds and I've had a 2am panic attack so bad i couldn't get back to sleep. I'm so mad my psychiatrist didn't give me enough meds to get to my next appointment. On the phone with a friend. Thank god he's an EMT and can calm me down.
