An Open Letter to My Brain Part V of V To My Dearest Brain, Tonight was your last time ever studying for a high school exam. Now, this is not meant to be a nostalgic piece about the end of high school (we’ll save that for graduation) but rather a reminder of how strong you are and how ready you are to accomplish this final feat. Tomorrow is your final exam, your finishing touch on four years of endless educational obstacles. And you will crush it. You will go in there confident, ready to take this final exam, ready to show high school that you owned it. Now, I know that macroeconomics isn’t really your strong suit-- but who cares? Are you going to let that stop you from giving it everything you got? No! Go in there tomorrow ignoring everyone else and focusing only on yourself. Leave everything on that table because it is the last time you will ever be able to show this godforsaken high school that you are so much better than them. You will conquer tomorrow. You will destroy tomorrow. Show me everything you have left. Show me the brain that has taken me through four years of outstanding work. You are so smart, so show me tomorrow. Conquer. Win. You can do it. With my highest regards, Your #1 Fan, xoxo. Caroline
