I'm the worst...I got this ages ago and am JUST posting it...Liebster Blog Award
Liebster Blog Award
I am going to be answering the questions of http://youngadultread .tumblr.com - thank you so much for nominating me!
Directions
1) Thank the Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog and link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
2) Answer the 11 questions from the nominator and create 11 questions for your nominees.
3) Present the Liebster Blog Award to 11 blogs of 200 followers or less (Though personally I will just sent it to whoever I think deserves it because I have no idea how many followers you guys have) who you feel deserve to be noticed and leave a comment on their blog letting them know they have been chosen (no tag backs)
4) Copy and paste the Blog Award onto your Blog:
1) What is your favourite genre of book?
I love all genres, but I have to be in the "mood" to read them.
2) What is your favourite book(s)?
This is the hardest question in the world, and I cannot answer it. However, some of them are: Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. The Dangerous Angels series by Francesca Lia Block.
3) What is your favourite movie adaptation of a book you have read?
Hunger Games. No doubt.
4) What was the prime reason for creating your blog?
Honestly, I reblogged tons of book stuff. And I didn't like how disorganized and random my blog was. So now I have a particular blog for book/writing stuff.
5) What book are you currently reading?
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman.
6) What was the last book you read?
Paper Valentine
7) Who is your favourite author?
I love Holly Black, John Green, JK Rowling, Francesca Lia Block, and Melissa Marr. I also enjoy David Levithan, Maureen Johnson, Anne Brashares, and Erin Morgenstern.
8) Book character crush/ just favourite character? And why?
Augustus Waters - I love all of his different layers. He starts off as a Manic Pixie Dream Boy, but he's so much more than that.
Noah Shaw - British. Bibliophile. Charming and dangerous. I don't really think there is much not to like.
Tessa Gray - Lives in England. Bibliophile. And I just love how daring she is, especially for her time.
Rath Roiben Rye - Too many reasons to list.
9) Have you ever met an author?
Yes! I have had the honor of meeting Holly Black, Lisa McMann, Nick Sagan, Mary Higgins Clark, and several others. :)
10) Have you ever hated a book? Which one?
Twilight. Also, the majority of the really bad fantasy books that came after Twilight. And Authentic Happiness by Martin Seligman. It's nonfiction about Positive Psychology and it is so idiotic.
11) Do you believe more books should be adapted to film? Or do you disagree with book to movie adaptations? Why?
I don't like movie adaptations. I guess I just don't understand why the next step for a popular book is always to make a movie adaptation...it seems like a money thing to me.
My Questions:
1.) What book changed your life the most?
2.) Which book character would you most want to be?
3.) If you could rewrite one ending, which book would it be and how would you end it?
4.) Do you dog ear?
5.) Where do you get the majority of your books from?
6.) Do you use Goodreads?
7.) What is your favorite physical feature of yourself?
8.) Do you remember your dreams?
9.) What's one regret that you have?
10.) Who is your dream Tumblr follower?
11.) Choose a question that I was asked to answer.
