#2 and #9 for the artist asks? c:
How long have you been drawing?
all my life babey. tho I would say there were times where I took it more seriously than others. I drew a shitton when I was a teen, im talking like, unstoppable urge to draw. then around 2014 I wanted to get more serious abt it, in the sense of wanting to improve
i wanna clarify stuff like that bc I feel like theres many ppl who picked up drawing later in life and feel like they cant catch up to ppl who've done it since they were little. but in reality, it isn't like that. you can draw 24/7 and not improve (and if that's not your goal, thats fine too actually)
How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
... 😭
rly not a lot anymore. if I do draw during the day I spend a couple hours on it. if im getting rly fixated on sth im drawing then I'll probably draw for like 15 hours that day. tho probably like 10 will be spent wailing in agony and cursing the gods

🏠 Does the tower / city truly feel like home to you?
Ary: no, not at all. it’s his base of operations and he likes being there for the holidays and activities. but he’s usually an observer on the side, rather than an active participant, because it doesn’t feel like this is for him. the only place he’s ever felt close to being home was the cold, lonely cosmodrome. *sad violin*
Astridt: the tower’s a workplace, the city’s his home. at least the district he was rezzed in. he likes engaging with the people there, and being a good example of a guardian to them.
Ares: yes. a new home, so there’s still a reasonable shyness about it all, but home nonetheless.
for the Guardian asks: Do your Guardians' Ghosts have names? What are their Ghosts like?
Ary’s ghost doesn’t have a name. since he’s my main, I just think of his Ghost as our canonical one, for the most part.
Astridt’s ghost definitely has a name but full disclosure: i haven’t decided on it yet lol. her shell is shining white with golden ornamentation. and she’s exhausted. she wholeheartedly believes she made the right choice with her guardian. he’s a good guy.like, on the inside.i’m saying deep down.she constantly tries to keep him open-minded, with varying success. she knows he’s obnoxious and tries to be even kinder and humbler because of it, and is thus often found apologizing to the people he just talked to.but when it’s just the two of them and the topic doesn’t revolve around politics or anything, they actually get along very well. she loves to join him in his studies and try and help him find more ways to use his Light.and she loves to ride in his coat pocket.
Ares’ ghost’s name is Kronos. he chose it himself and wears it with pride. he has a deep, robotic voice. his shell is black and studded.he had picked Ares’ name long before he had ever found him.he’s strict and a bit stern. he sits Ares down every night and teaches him manners; how to behave in a meeting, in a café, or when out with friends. when they’re out in the wild, he’ll wait until he’s walked into the bear trap before warning him about it; not out of malice, but bc he’s adamant about him experiencing the consequences of his failures.he’s seen too many guardians that he doesn’t deem worthy of the title, so he wants to make sure to shape his one into the ideal one.he’s basically like that P.E. teacher who takes his job a bit too seriously but genuinely means well.and he won’t be seen as Ares’ sidekick; he’s his own person, and the one in charge. well. for now, anyway.
hey
You were a lot more patient of Past Me’s shit than Past Me deserved. A lot more. Practically a saint. Also, you’re very frank, very direct, you figure out what you want and then you go get it- and that’s a trait I admire, y’know? Very admirable.
